I've always had a passion for creating things of beauty. It started with music and art, then all things culinary. Ten years in the Air Force allowed me to travel the world.
In the course of those ten years I saw many things; the way that people live their lives and the outlets they engaged in to celebrate them. Despite the rigors of the military lifestyle I remained a girly-girl. Through long hours and constant moves I always found a way to incorporate balance and relaxation into my life. Like so many others, I love the experience of settling into a warm, beautifully fragranced bath and allowing all of the day’s stresses to melt away.
Europe made the wonders of classical thermal baths an affordable and accessible luxury. But returning to the United States, I was hard pressed to find a similar outlet for my need to pamper myself. Certainly not at a price I could take advantage of on a regular basis. With my need for relaxation fully intact I decided to recreate the products that made my spa experiences so wonderful. It wasn't long before my friends and collegues asked that I share my bath treats with them as gifts.
With the support and encouragement of family and friends, I launched Painted Mist. Painted Mist offers all natural and organic bath products that are cruelty-free, affordable,and just as luxurious as the spa alternatives. My distinctive bath luxuries are handmade in Phoenix, Arizona using the finest natural and organic ingredients.
